Psalm 24:1-10
Biblical Worship Part 3: Who Can Worship?
True worship involves reverential human acts of submission and homage before the divine Sovereign in response to his gracious revelation of himself and in accord with his will. In other words, worship is “the human response to God.” Last week we explored who this divine Sovereign is that we respond to, and why He is worthy of worship. This week, in part 3 of our Biblical Worship series, we will be asking the question “who can worship?” in order words, is there worship that God will reject because of who is offering it or does God accept worship from anyone? Let’s join together this Palm Sunday and explore Psalm 24, as well as bits and pieces from Matthew 21-25, singing “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”
