Biblical Worship Part 4 - how do we worship?
He has risen…He has risen indeed! This Sunday as we celebrate the risen saviour we will also be finishing up our short series on worship answering the question, “how do we worship?” Last we talked about how God can and does reject improper worship as we see in his interaction with Cain and many other OT characters, through the messages of the prophets (especially Isaiah), as well as much of Jesus’ interactions with the religious leaders of his day. According to Psalm 24 worship that is acceptable to God comes from a person and people with clean hands, a pure heart, devoted only to Yahweh, and whose thoughts and actions are aligned and in line with God. Over the course of this series, we have said that true worship is a response to God and this Sunday we will examine how we can properly respond to Him! May this Easter weekend be a continual remembrance and response for who God is and what he has done.
