John 15:26-16:15“The Advocate” Throughout the years, centuries and more there have been many opinions about who or what the Holy Spirit is and what his/its role is. From the earliest centuries onward, the church has found itself divided, or at the very least in tension, trying to understand the one Jesus called the Paraclete. As we conclude our series on the gospel of John this Sunday we will be looking at what Jesus had to say about the one who was to come after him, who he was and what his role would be. Let us join together this Sunday to worship through word and deed, the Father who created us, the Son who redeemed us, and the Advocate who guides us into all truth.
