Revelation 21-22:5
All Things Made New

Revelation 21-22:9

Do you get frustrated or depressed thinking about how you will spend the rest of your life or question what hope there is in the future? Similar feelings often come when we try to “figure out” the Book of Revelation so we avoid it altogether because it just “doesn’t make much sense.” The problem in both situations is that we often focus on the wrong things or measure with the wrong tools. We try to control things which are not in our control, or abdicate responsibility for things we should take responsibility for.

As the Revelation of Jesus draws to a close John is given extravagant hope for the future to which we are headed, extreme confidence in who is ultimately in control, and practical direction for the rest of life each of us has yet to live.
