Missions

CHBC has been involved in missions since it's beginning in 1909.   From reaching out to the community to reaching out to the world.

We currently support the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada and their missionaries placed all over the world and retired pastors here at home.

We are happy to support with donations to the Calgary Pregnancy Care Center, the Calgary Food Bank, and Canadian Baptist Ministries.

We have supported Operation Christmas Child for many years and look forward to our yearly shoebox packing party.

We reach out and volunteer at Hope Mission, serving and preparing meals for those in SE Calgary.

We believe that Jesus is the answer to every need.

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
