Remember

…we will remember them. With each passing year the depth to which I understand and appreciate the meaning and purpose of Remembrance Day grows, and it begs me to ask the question, “how best should I remember?”
In the vision Jesus gave John on the island of Patmos, Jesus sends edicts to seven churches. The first church addressed is in Ephesus and despite what appears to be them doing a lot of good works, Jesus accuses them of forsaking (or willfully forgetting) the love they had at first. In response, he calls them to repentance so that they may eat from the tree of life.
