Over the next four sermons we will be going through the book of Esther which is a curiosity in many ways as God is not mentioned, and other than a phrase about fasting, neither are any spiritual practices. As such questions linger: where is God? Why isn’t he mentioned? Why is this book in the canon of Scripture? As we will see along our journey through the story, the book of Esther is very relatable to our times as these are some of the questions that we, and others, are asking.
