Throughout our mini-journey, through Nehemiah, we have been looking at the challenges he and the Jews faced in rebuilding the wall, and how they responded to those challenges. In our final joint service with GoodTree, and concluding the series in Nehemiah, we are going to look at why? Why do we respond to adversity and challenge and why should we? Although the question “why?” is the bane of every parent with a toddler, if we, the people of God, do not continually ask ourselves “why?” our resources for response will quickly run out. When our resources run out we have failed in our obedience to the ways of God.
