Submit, such a challenging word in our day in age...and in all ages. Although it is used extensively throughout the scriptures in direction for God’s people, it’s use in Ephesians 5:22 seems to stir up all sorts of controversy and often causes reactions for us in direct opposition to what Paul says just three verses earlier (speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs). This Palm Sunday we will be exploring Paul’s call to submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. It is a fitting passage given Christ’s final entrance to Jerusalem was upon a donkey out of submission to the call of his father. We look forward to gathering together this Sunday in worship of our God, the one who is faithful to complete the work he has begun in us.
