What a year it’s been! Not necessarily what we had hoped for at the end of 2020, but God has been faithful, and many great things have gone on: phone calls and visits among family and friends, Easter celebrations, day camps, weekly worship services, baptisms, the Advent painting series, and more. We have celebrated lives and mourned those who have passed on. But have we, have you, grown “in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man?” In January 2021 we visited this same passage in Luke 2 during our “Life of Jesus” sermon series and made three points about what it means to grow. This final Sunday of 2021 we are going to revisit the points from January and ask how we responded when our cultural and spiritual worlds collided.
