Hello church, it is good to be back after a couple of weeks off doing a bunch of reading, various projects around the house, and a 3-night trip to the Kananaskis backcountry with my boys. I look forward to being with you once again this Sunday as we worship the risen Messiah together!

Throughout the world, humanity is longing for life. We spend billions of dollars on medications, surgeries, products and otherwise in order to preserve, improve, sustain, restore, and create life. We want life so badly that we will invest billions more in trying to create what we think is the appearance of life through cosmetics, health and diet fads, body augmentation, and more. And in fact, all of this makes sense because we were created to be alive! Over the next couple of months, we will be exploring the word and words of Jesus, that which truly fulfils our created desire to be alive. This Sunday we will start our journey looking at Jesus’ claim that he is the bread of life.
