This year will celebrate the coming of Jesus' birth, the light of the world, with a candlelight service on Christmas Eve.
Christmas is a rich time which reminds us that not only is our calendar structured around the birth of Christ, but it is also a time that beckons us to come and see a baby wrapped in clothes and lying in a manger who is "good news that will cause great joy for all people."
We gather once again to light the final Advent candle, the candle of Christ, Emmanuel, God with us. To live in hope, peace, joy, and love is fully realized when we live in Christ, or more pragmatically, to have Christ live in us. So come, all you seeking and faithful, on this holy night, to see what child this is and hear how we might live in Christ once again.
The service will also be available on Facebook (similar to a typical Sunday morning).
We are continuing on with the tradition of donating to the CBWC Christmas Love Gift, click here for more information.
